Using Blind as an Ex-employee


Why do I need to re-verify my account?

We require users to re-verify to maintain a community of verified professionals. Employment status and company affiliations change over time, and re-verification ensures that only current employees have access to private company channels.


What is the "ex-" tag, and why do I have it?

The "ex-" tag allows users to continue using Blind after switching jobs or during employment transitions. It keeps your previous company affiliation visible while indicating that you are no longer an active employee.

  • Users with the "ex-" tag may have read-only access to their previous company channel but retain full access to public channels.

How can I remove the "ex-" tag and regain full access?

If you are still employed at the company you signed up with:

  1. Go through the verification process again using the same email and password.
  2. If successful, your access will be restored without the "ex-" tag.
